Since I was new to the Good Hong Kong Serviced Apartments, someone from the management kindly offered to bring me around since she was available and wanted me to familiarize myself with the place. The kind hospitality was a pleasant surprise!
She suggested bringing me to another location of their many apartments to pop by for a look. It was also in the Causeway Bay vicinity, just down the road from the apartment I’m staying, along Paterson Street. I was told that they often hold gatherings for their guests there.
It was love at first sight. This place is totally Tumblr-worthy!
I learnt that this gathering-apartments place was also designed and decorated by designer Boll Chow of Giant Treasure Hong Kong. The way he creatively created a fusion of old with new provided an aesthetic feast for my eyes!
I appreciated the random pop of colours with every turn that I made. I don’t know how Boll did it, but the colourful splash wasn’t overly done. ;)
Interesting fact: rather obviously, Boll’s love for antique collection is evident in his designs. In fact, he often brings in some from his personal collection to complete the decorations aspect for clients. I was told that some of the chairs hold a history so dated back, they are even older than my grandparents!

You can also soak in the bustle of the city while on the balcony outside. This is the perfect place to people-watch and let time tick by. I can imagine myself here with a friend talking through the night, under the starry sky.
While it is not the most prominent place ever and can be rather difficult to locate on the first try, this flight of stairs serves a guide!
